Plot Synopsis:

Trivia:
Tim Burton was hired to direct Batman (1989) but was not greenlit by studios until the commercial success of Beetlejuice (1988).
The role of Batman was a challenge to cast for, with numerous A-list actors being considered for the iconic role before Michael Keaton was finally cast.
Jack Nicholson agreed to the role of the Joker under the proviso of a high salary, a portion of the Box Office revenue and control of his shooting schedule.
